Mission: Small Business
Mission: Small Business is a Chase Bank event currently running via the web with support from Living Social and Facebook. The idea is for companies to apply online and receive 250 votes (from anyone, anywhere!) in order to be considered for a $250k grant. This grant can be used for any number of investments towards busniess development! Companies apply online to participate then receive votes from friends, family, other businesses, strangers, customers, partners, entrepenuers -anyone!
Half the excitement of an event like this comes from the sense of community supporting small and local businesses brings. Xact Warehouse Solutions does work nationally, but we have been voting for all kinds of local businesses in our community. That’s the other half of the excitement- voting for other businesses does not hurt our chances! We have had a blast promoting our own company and gathering votes this week while simaltaneously helping out other companies we believe in and would like to see flourish.
